PROBE STATIONS
Lake Shore CryotronicsRequest Info
Horizontal- and vertical-field superconducting magnet-based probe stations have been introduced by the Desert Cryogenics Div. of Lake Shore Cryotronics Inc. The horizontal model achieves a maximum field of 1 T, and the vertical model comes with 1- or 3-T magnet configurations. Both stations operate over temperatures from 4.2 to 400 K, can have up to four ultrastable micromanipulated probe arms and can accommodate wafers up to 1 in. in diameter. They are applicable for measuring magneto-transport, electrical and electro-optical, parametric, high Z, DC, RF and microwave (up to 67 GHz) properties of materials, such as nanoscale electronics, quantum wires and dots, organic and dilute magnetic semiconductors, superconductors and spintronic devices. A selection of probes, cables and sample chucks is offered.
