Labsphere Inc. has released a family of integrating sphere spectral lamp measurement systems, including the SLMS-1000, -2000, -4000, -6500 and -7600 models. The company says that the systems provide radiometric, photometric and color results in seconds, rather than the minutes taken by conventional scanning instruments. Suitable for measuring light sources in a variety of sizes, the photometers conform to international standards, including CIE 84. They offer NIST-traceable calibration and accurate spectroradiometric matching to photopic and tristimulus responses, providing reliable measurements, even with narrowband sources. The Windows XP software processes the spectral data.
