The CF and CDF series infrared firing and drying/firing furnaces manufactured by Despatch Industries are ergonomically designed for use in semiconductor, hybrid microelectronics, electronic materials and photovoltaic applications. Ramp-up time from 400 to 900 °C is performed at a rate of >80 °C/s, and cooldown from 900 to 600 °C at >70 °C, so that manufacturers who must change recipes or product profiles several times a day can avoid long delays while the equipment adjusts to temperature. Belt speeds are up to 648 cm/min, and the quartz belt support design reduces IR shadowing.
