A miniature photon-counting system, the PCDMini from SensL offers OEMs high performance in a compact, modular form factor. Incorporated on a printed circuit board with a hermetically sealed detector, the platform has a quenching architecture. It is available with a number of optional snap-on modules, including a Peltier cooler driver that enables operation down to –20 °C and a PC control interface with an integrated counter featuring 1000 updates per second. It is suitable for food analysis, biosensing, biomedicine and diagnostic equipment.
