DIGITAL CAMERAS Allied Vision Technologies GmbH has unveiled its Guppy line of compact digital cameras, all available in black and white and color. The six versions offer a variety of bandwidths as well as various sensors: VGA operating at 60 fps; wide VGA with 750 × 480 pixels, 60 fps; SVGA, 53 fps; XGA, 30 fps; and interlaced, EIA and CCIR. The 3 × 3 × 3.2-cm cameras come with an IEEE-1394 interface and such features as asynchronous image trigger, white balance, a look-up table, and gain, offset and exposure time.
