A connector is pressed against CleanTouch to remove contaminants and to provide a low-loss, low-reflective surface. This one-step procedure does not require lint-free clothes, cleaning solvents, costly dispensers or compressed air. It is self-contained, reusable and disposable. Clean- Touch can be used for patchcords and pigtails, equipment interfaces, bare and cleaved fibers, and ferrules and lenses.
