Hyperspec Line of Integrated Sensors

According to Headwall, the company used its engineering experience as a supplier of high-performance integrated spectrometer systems for spectral imaging and chemical sensing solutions to broaden its product offering in the field of hyperspectral imaging sensors to include three new integrated instruments: Hyperspec-VNIR (400-1000 nm, C series for demanding spatial/spectral resolution, D series for fast processing moving webs/scans) Hyperspec-NIR (900-1700 nm, X series for a broad range of near-infrared commercial applications) and Hyperspec-SWIR (1000-2500 nm).

Until now, deployment of hyperspectral sensors for commercial applications as been limited by the lack of integrated hyperspectral instruments and expensive imaging technology that yields an unacceptable return on investment to commercial customers and program managers, according to Headwall.

With our optical design and manufacturing capabilities, Headwall has established key relationships with strategic partners that allow us to build and integrate complete hyperspectral systems at very attractive price points.”
