ILX Lightwave’s LDM-4409 temperature-controlled C-mount laser diode fixture supports up to 10 A of drive current and has a temperature control range from 20 to 80 °C. It dissipates up to 25 W of heat, and an integrated thermoelectric cooler provides high-stability temperature control. Features include a clamping mechanism that facilitates insertion and removal of C-mount laser diodes, low thermal impedance that results in accurate and repeatable measurements, unobstructed access to the front of the device under test and an adjustable optical beam height. The fixture is optimized for pre- and post-burn-in characterization, R&D and manufacturing test applications. It can be mounted via an optical post, and input connectors are compatible with all of the company’s current sources and temperature controllers.
