Oplink has introduced a production-ready, low-loss, compact course wave division multiplexer (LLCC) to address bandwidth demand in access and enterprise networking markets. Oplink’s LLCC is designed to meet new regulations and requirements associated with this class of network applications. Using the latest thin-film-filter micro-optic technology, Oplink’s LLCC provides flexible configurations for the standard 4- and 8-channel CWDM systems while allowing for those with an optional 1310 nm OSC extension port. In compliance to the WEEE/RoHS initiatives, the product is packaged in a lead-free platform with an epoxy-free optical path. It is Telcordia GR-1221 and GR-1209 tested and qualified for controlled environmental conditions.
