UV-Process-Supply.jpgThe TFC-9000 Con-Trol-Cure thin-film calorimeter developed by UV Process Supply measures the performance of UV LEDs in the curing of inks, coatings and adhesives to ensure batch-to-batch consistency. A sample is cured with various UV wavelengths as the instrument measures the curing, and the resultant curves are overlaid to determine the most effective wavelength. The system also measures the time to peak to determine the number of LEDs required to achieve the desired speed for each customer’s process, and can create a profile of the adhesive.
