Terahertz Spectroscopy Kit

Ekspla has introduced a terahertz spectroscopy kit that includes the components to construct an optical system for terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (Thz-TDS). A gallium arsenide (GaAs) photoconductive switch, pumped by an ultrashort laser (<100 fs), is used as an emitter and detector of THz radiation. The usable spectral range extends from 200 GHz to 2 THz. The THz radiation range (100 GHz to 10 THz) is used in many spectroscopic applications and in the imaging of biological objects.
