Laser-Components.jpgLaser Components IG Inc. has expanded its Flexpoint pigtailed laser diode module series by adding 405- and 532-nm wavelengths in the blue and green spectral range. The modules are exchangeable because all wavelengths can be supplied in the same package, which is 55 mm long and 11.5 mm in diameter. They come standard with an SMA connection, and other options are available. The company recommends a 200-μm hard-clad silica fiber as a connector to produce 2 mW at 405 nm, 4 mW at 532 nm and up to 10 mW in the red wavelength range. Applications include analysis, illumination and measurement technology.
