Volpi USA announces the FlexLens for use in multiple camera applications. It is available with one to four arms, each of which transmits images back through the system into a C-mounted camera where they can be combined or processed individually. The lens is suitable for use in space-limited applications that require multiple fields of view. The integrated LED-based illumination is suitable for short working distances, and optional fiber optic illumination suits longer working distances and situations where more light is required. The arms can be ordered with independently focusable optics for applications where each view has a different required working distance.
