CrystaLaser Inc. has announced a diode-pumped solid-state laser that operates at 561 nm in single longitudinal mode and that produces 60 mW of single-frequency output. It provides a diffraction-limited TEM00 beam and <0.5% rms of noise. Output powers from 5 to 50 mW also are available. The compact laser has a lifetime of more than 10,000 h, and it consumes 12 W of power.
