Newport Corp_OM-cym_2R_group2.jpgNewport Corp. has unveiled its CYM-2R family of cylindrical lens mounts that enable high precision with ±5° adjustment around the power axis. They can hold cylindrical optics of various standard heights (up to 2 in.) and, with the use of adapters, optics as small as 1/4-in., while maintaining the power axis height. The mounts provide high-precision rotation of the axis through 100 TPI adjustment screws. The ±5° roll adjustment range has sensitivity of 6 arc sec, and they are post-mountable, with a mounting hole that accepts 8-32 or M4 screws.
