The 14-bit CCD camera is thermoelectrically cooled to 43 °C below ambient temperature, suppressing dark current to <0.003 e/p/s. It features a 1600 × 1200-pixel chip, programmable gain of 1× to 16×, dual-channel 20-MHz image capture and a FireWire interface. It comes with Spot imaging software and an f-type lens mount.
