Scientific Volume Imaging bv has expanded its Huygens software to include a variety of deconvolution, visualization and analysis tools for light microscopy imaging. Available for Macintosh, Linux and Windows platforms, the software processes data sets from confocal, multiphoton, wide-field and spinning disk microscopes on a per-stack basis or in batches. A wizard-style interface guides the user step-by-step through the deconvolution process. The twin slicer function lets the user compare corresponding slices or time frames from the original and deconvolved image. The software deconvolves time series of 2- and 3-D images and automatically corrects for bleaching, drift and varying backgrounds.
