In response to the needs of biophotonics customers for low-autofluorescence UV optics manufactured from calcium fluoride, fused silica and more exotic materials, Edmund Optics is introducing 20 product lines designed to work in the UV. They include UV-near-IR triplets, laser mirrors, filters, fixed-focal-length lenses and cameras. Also offered are CaF2 windows, UV-VIS CCD spectrometers and new versions of the company’s ReflX objectives, as well as scientific-grade instrumentation, including spectrometers, photomultiplier tubes, and UV light sources and detectors.
