LUMINESCENCE MONITOR

Photonics Spectra
Oct 2006
Ocean Optics Inc.Request Info

A multifrequency phase fluorometer announced by Ocean Optics Inc. is a frequency-domain monitor that measures luminescence lifetime, phase and intensity. It uses LED excitation, avalanche photodiode detection and filter-based wavelength selection for experimental setup and control and, when used with proprietary oxygen sensors, mitigates index effects, eliminates ambient light and improves system stability in dissolved oxygen applications. Because it uses phase-shift technology, it is unaffected by fiber bending and stray light. The instrument can be configured with one- or two-channel LED excitation and detection, with modulation frequencies to 100 kHz. It performs luminescence lifetime measurements from 200 to 0.3
