Photron's new miniature, remote, multihead Fastcam MH4-10K digital video imaging system allows the use of one to four detachable camera heads, each just 35 x 35 x 35 mm (less than 1.5 inches without lens) and weighing less than 100 grams. The system features excellent light sensitivity, with full 512 x 512 pixel resolution up to 2,000 f/s and Mh4-in-hand-low-resPS.jpgup to 10,000 f/s at reduced resolution. Photron's compact Fastcam MH4-10K camera system uses a 10-mm-square pixel with an 8-bit monochrome and 24-bit color CMOS sensor.

Designed for maximum flexibility in hostile conditions, such as  vehicle impact testing, the camera heads can be easily mounted in areas of limited space in any orientation using the highly flexible, 10-meter (32.8 foot) cable lengths.

Photron's Fastcam MH4-10K cameras are ruggedized to withstand high shock and vibration with high-G ratings up to 100 Gs on any axis, making them ideal for recording and motion analysis of critical events during high impact tests. The MH4-10K is also suitable for any high speed imaging tasks that require camera positioning within confined areas and on low-mass mounting surfaces, including pedal and footwell areas, steering columns and safety belt mountings.
