Prior Scientific Inc. has introduced the model ES10 OptiScan II motorized stage system with a USB connection. New features include upgraded drive circuitry and a dynamic link library for writing new code. The design includes drives for the motorized stage, focus, two filter wheels and three shutters, eliminating the need to upgrade the controller when other components are added. The stage is compatible with leading image-analysis software programs and is supplied with all five axes populated with stepper drives. Two RS-232 ports are compatible with the company’s CS100K filter wheel keypad and CS152KB touch-screen keypad controller.
