LaserResearch_MellerOptics_.gifLaser Research Optics’ multispectral zinc sulfide optics transmit over wavelengths from 0.4 to 12 μm with minimal scatter. Water clear, chemically inert and nonhygroscopic, the optics are available in sizes ranging from λ/4 to 4 in. and between 1 and 8 mm thick. Designed with surface accuracies to 1/4 and 40-20 scratch-dig per MIL-PRF-13830, they are suited for infrared imaging and military applications, including tank windows, mid- and long-wave detectors, and laser rangefinders.
