High-Precision Beamsplitters

Agilent Technologies’ high-performance beamsplitter line offers industry-leading polarization control, beam control and low wavefront distortion. The precision beamsplitters split light by polarization, amplitude or wavelength and are available in cube, plate or displacement geometries.

In both standard and custom models, Agilent beamsplitters offer a variety of choices to meet current and emerging applications in aerospace and defense, homeland security, biotechnology, scientific instrumentation and nanotechnology measurement.

All Agilent beamsplitters offer near-distortionless beam splitting with the option for parallel or orthogonal output. They provide exceptional eighth-wave to tenth-wave transmitted wavefront distortion (TWD) in both output beams.

Agilent said its displacement beamsplitters accurately split an input beam into two or more displaced output beams with industry-leading parallelism, accurate to 25 arcseconds. Its cube beamsplitters are designed to accurately separate an input beam into two beams exiting at a 90-degree angle to each other. Its plate beamsplitters offer compact size and low thermal mass with lower wavefront distortion and arcsecond wedge tolerance that ensures a precise 90-degree separation between the output beams. Agilent’s polarization beamsplitters offer a 1,000:1 contrast ratio in both transmitted and reflected beams.
