iDIGITAL Spectral Instruments Inc. is offering a PCI card that conforms to the Automated Imaging Association standard for differential output digital cameras. An onboard DMA bus master control and high-speed FIFO buffer allow 8- to 16-bit image transfers to computer memory at rates above 10 megapixels per second. The PCI card also includes a programmable look-up table for on-the-fly conversion of alternate input data formats, an additional serial interface and a communications channel.
