Intelligent-Motion-Systems-.jpgThe MForce MicroDrive microstepping driver measures 12.7 cubic cm and uses the same technology as the M3000-based MDrivePlus products. Released by Intelligent Motion Systems Inc., it accepts an input range of 12 to 48 VDC and is available in versions designed for motion control, speed control and CANopen communication protocol. Providing a high per-phase output current of up to 2 A rms, 2.8 A peak, the driver can control motors ranging from 8 to 34 in size. It accepts up to 20 resolution settings from full to 256 microsteps per full step. Designed for demanding environments, it has an operating temperature range of –40 to 85 °C.
