Semrock_UVFamily_dark.jpgSemrock Inc. has announced optical filters at UV wavelengths made with proprietary advanced ion beam sputtering deposition technology. The new filters include 248- and 266-nm versions of the RazorEdge types for Raman spectroscopy, with laser-line blocking of greater than OD 6, ultrasteep edges and >90% average transmission over the passband. A 266-nm MaxLine laser cleanup filter with transmission of >55% at the laser line has been introduced, as have UV-transmitting BrightLine fluorescence filters, including a 280-nm bandpass filter with >70% transmission and deep blocking of nonessential wavelengths.
