A micro objective focusing system has been developed by piezosystem jena GmbH for applications that require upside-down operation, such as inverted microscopes. The Mipos 500 UD provides total travel of 500 μm, with resolution in the nanometer range. By screwing the Flex-Adapter thread ring into the imaging system, the user can mount the focusing system on the ring with a clamping screw. Integrated position sensors ensure positioning without hysteresis or drift. The system is suitable for use in biology, laser technology and medicine.
