Advanced-Illimination_DL083.jpgAdvanced Illumination Inc. has unveiled the DL083, a flat diffuse illuminator that is 21 mm thick and uses surface mount LEDs to provide light suited for inspecting reflective objects. The device has a 200 × 200-mm surface that projects an area of even illumination from 100 to 300 mm. It has a 45-mm aperture and can be mounted with an integral M6 nut channel. Built with red LEDs, it is configured for a 24-V power supply. Light can be ordered in red or infrared and can be wired for use with the company’s Pulsar 710 high-current strobe controller.
