New Focus Inc.'s Triple-Divide modular translation stages can be reconfigured to suit a particular application with the twist of a single screw. The interlocking track design, called the e*z*Trac, ensures stability without sacrificing flexibility. The stages allow 1.1 in. of travel, feature <0.5-µm resolution and <2.5-µm straight-line accuracy, and can handle a maximum load of 20 lb. The company also offers a wide selection of accessories for the stages.
