StellarNet_ReflectanceProbe.jpgStellarNet Inc.’s R600 series reflectance probes offer a gain of three times the signal strength of the R400 models by increasing the fiber diameter by 200 μm. The increased capability enables higher-resolution spectrometers, including the company’s EPP2000C concave grating spectrometer and the EPP2000-InGaAs NIR spectrometers for real-time color measurements or compound/composition analysis, respectively. Seven 600-μm-diameter fibers illuminate the sample, while one 600-μm-diameter fiber collects the reflected light. Shockproof and highly portable, the optical bench is suitable for use in the lab or in the field. The devices come with the SpectraWiz software suite.
