Land-Instruments.jpgLand Instruments International Ltd. has announced the FTI Mv thermal imager. The detector is an uncooled microbolometer focal plane array in a 160 × 120-pixel format. Spectral response is from 7 to 14 μm, frame frequency is 30 Hz, and temperature resolution is <0.12 °C. The imager operates from a 12-VDC, 3-W supply. Features include a variety of close-up lenses, remote control and an RS-422A interface, and a choice of alarm outputs. Available through the dedicated LIPS Mini software are a variety of image processing routines, including zoom and noise filtering.
