Owis-Gmbh.jpgOwis GmbH has released the PS 30 PCI-PC control card for three-axis control of two-phase step motors and DC servo motors. The device consists of a plug-in card, a card for a slot panel mount and two inputs for an incremental encoder or a position measuring system. Users can operate the step motors in full steps or in increments as small as 256 microsteps per full step. Programmed and operated by a PC, the device can perform point-to-point positioning with different velocity profiles, as well as continuous-path control such as circular interpolation or three-axis linear interpolation.
