LeCroy has unveiled a high-performance color digital oscilloscope with 4 MB of data acquisition memory per channel and the ability to cascade the memory to 16 MB when using single input. Designated the LC584AXL, the oscilloscope has a 1-GHz bandwidth and comes with a 192-MHz PowerPC processor that enables fast calculations on long data arrays. The flagship of the LC584 DSO family, the LC584AXL features a proprietary technology for capturing multiple waveforms in an Analog Persistence display mode, and it can make precision calculations using the data in the persistence map.
