Lumics_LU09xxC120_PS.jpgLumics GmbH has released the LU09xxC120 series fiber-coupled diode lasers, which offer up to 120 W of optical output power in CW operation from a glass fiber with a 200-μm core diameter. Suitable for materials processing and solid-state laser pumping, they are available at 915-nm (LU0915C120), 940-nm (LU0940C120) and 975-nm (LU0975C120) wavelengths. The diode laser is based on multiple single-emitter laser diodes, which are assembled on a water-cooled plate. The system is water-cooled with a required flow rate of 3 1/min. The water can be used directly from the tap. The ambient water temperature range is 0 to 60 °C. The 150 × 70 × 150-mm system can incorporate an optional red pilot beam or SMA 905 connector.
