Scripting tools are more powerful, and the user interface has been updated so that operators can design complex systems via sophisticated algorithms that require minimal user input. The software supports customizable reporting for “bill of materials” and quote creation, and link-modeling capabilities generate information on goals and performance in either graphic or numeric format. It operates in customization mode for testing design strategies and defining equipment characteristics for distribution to the technical sales force. In application mode, engineers and sales staff can synthesize links based on customer requirements.
