m.u.t. gmbh.jpgThe Tristan-NIR InGaAs infrared spectrometer has been introduced by m•u•t GmbH. The detector features cooling as standard equipment, and the spectrometer is actively ventilated and temperature-controlled. The entire measuring procedure is fully automatic, and the temperature of the detector is stored for each measurement for control purposes. Two configurations are offered. The NIR-HR covers from 900 to 1700 nm with 5-nm resolution. The exNIR covers from 1000 to 2200 nm with 15-nm resolution. Multiple short exposure times virtually eliminate noise. Exposure times start at 15 μs, and 500 to 1000 exposure cycles can be executed in 1 s, with dark noise of 0.3%.
