Advanced Optical Technology.jpgAdvanced Optical Technology Ltd. has unveiled the AOT:YVO:25QI, a short-pulse 1064-nm laser for laboratory equipment suppliers and users. Repetition rate is from 0 to 25 kHz, nominal pulse length is 1.5 ns, and pulse energy is up to 40 μJ at 30-kW peak power. The laser produces maximum average power of 750 mW and a TEM00 beam profile. It comprises a laser head and a PSU/control unit connected by a 2-m-long conduit cable. Required user inputs are single-phase 110 to 250 VAC of <40 W and a TTL trigger source to set the pulse repetition rate. A 10-turn potentiometer sets the laser power.
