SVS Vistek.jpgSVS-Vistek GmbH has introduced a high-sensitivity, low-noise progressive-scan camera with 640 × 480-pixel resolution and a Camera Link interface. The svs414 has a 1/2-in. CCD sensor, and its output is digitized via a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter. It delivers 60 full images per second, and in partial-scan mode, higher frame rates with reduced spatial resolution can be achieved. Binning with 2 × 2 pixels also is possible. Gain, offset and exposure time can be adjusted using proprietary software. Free-running and triggered operation modes enable integration of the camera into specific applications. It measures 50 × 55 × 43 mm and is available in monochrome and color versions.
