Renishaw_XL-80_laser_interf.jpgThe XL-80 portable laser interferometer calibration system launched by Renishaw Inc. achieves linear measurement speeds to 4 m/s, produces 1-nm resolution and ±0.5-ppm accuracy, operates over a temperature range from 0 to 40 °C and warms up in <6 min. The signal gain switch offers the option of an 80-m linear range or increased signal strength at shorter ranges, and the XC-80 intelligent sensor system maintains accuracy during variations in temperature, pressure and humidity by updating the environment factor every 7 s via a USB interface.
