Imperx.jpgImperx Inc. has announced that its Lynx line of Gigabit Ethernet cameras for machine vision applications now is fully compliant with the GenI- Cam and the GigE Vision interface standards. GigE Vision compatibility enables connection to a variety of image processing hardware and software over the network, while GenICam ensures that those systems can fully access the Lynx camera features. The cameras can be used with any compatible vision system without requiring additional driver development. The cameras are available in monochrome and color configurations and offer 8-, 10- or 12-bit pixel data under software control. Electronic shutter controls offer pre- and double exposure and speeds from 1/12,000 to 10 s.
