Visotek_IMG_1614.jpgVisotek Inc.’s Ultra High Brightness series fiber-coupled diode lasers operate at 792 and 976 nm and offer output powers from 50 to 75 W with a 100-μm fiber and from 250 to 350 W with a 200-μm fiber. Typical spectral width is 5 nm, and coupling efficiency of 75% is possible. The fiber is industrial-grade or steel-jacket, with a length of 3 m and a numerical aperture of 0.2. Typical operating current is 8 A, and maximum is 10 A. Cooling is via tap water with glycol, and forced air cooling is available for lower powers.
