Integral Ti:S Oscillator

VIENNA, Austria, Oct. 1, 2007 -- Femtolasers Productions GmbH said its newest Integral turnkey Ti:sapphire ultrafast oscillator has an improved laser cavity that offers power levels up to >400 mW with low noise figures, compared to >150 mW in the system's previous generation.

Ultrashort pulses of less than 10 fs in duration and nearly Gaussian-shaped spectra of greater than 120 nm in bandwidth are available, integral.gifdepending on the model. The Integral can be operated via a slimline 19-in. user interface or a computer interface allowing full process integration.

Applications include terahertz (THz) generation, amplifier seeding, materials processing, diagnostics and others in industrial, medical and scientific environments, and for processes requiring ultrafast pulses, broad bandwidth and high peak power combined with high stability.

Beam steering and fiber delivery accessories are available.

Femtolasers offers a wide variety of products for dispersion management to ensure hat ultrafast pulses arrive undistorted at the target. Its patented dispersive mirror technology yields the shortest pulse duration combined with the most compact laser-head dimensions (500 x 260 x 80 mm). Direct coupling of pump diodes combined with a highly efficient prism-free cavity offers high reliability and reduces the cost of ownership significantly, the company said.
