Quantum-Northwest_PAS-1000-.gifThe PAS 1000 from Quantum Northwest comprises components to perform pulsed-laser photoacoustic measurements. It combines optics, energy probes, a fast diode trigger, a precision temperature-controlled cuvette holder, a transducer, a preamplifier, data acquisition hardware and a digitizing oscilloscope. Software links the components for collecting, processing and analyzing data. With the addition of a laser and a PC, users can generate high-quality pulsed-laser photoacoustic data for complex kinetic analysis. An adjustable rectangular aperture provides precise control of the illuminating volume in the sample, and a 100-mm-focal-length fused silica rectangular lens focuses the beam in the cuvette.
