Linos Photonics GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its bm.x series beam expansion systems for use with light sources in the NIR range of 725 to 1050 nm. The systems have interchangeable, focusable attachments that determine the expansion ratio. With the package, expansion can be changed quickly to 3×, 4×, 5×, 8× or 10×. The optics are designed for minimal wavefront distortion in the NIR spectrum. All optical components in this range have an antireflection coating of R <0.5%.
