Sick_IVC_2D.gifSick Inc. has launched two new versions of its IVC-2D smart cameras. The IVC-2D Reader can read bar and 2-D data matrix codes and can perform optical character recognition and verification. Available in high- and standard-resolution models, it includes Ethernet/IP and robot coordinate transformation. The IVC-2D R is a lower-cost 2-D camera system for applications that do not require high-speed processing. It is enclosed in a robust IP 65 housing. Because of a converter ring that is attached to the cameras at the factory, both C- and CS-mount standard lenses can be used.
