Dymax.jpgDymax Corp. is offering improved flood lamp bulbs for UV curing. The P/N 36970 bulb produces a broad UV spectral distribution suitable for inks and thin coatings. The P/N 38560 provides a greater concentration of long-wave UV and visible wavelengths for thicker bond lines and potting applications. For visible-light curing, the P/N 36658 can be used with visible curing adhesives for UV-sensitive applications. The bulbs come with a 2000-h warranty. Two versions of its 400-W UV flood lamps, the 2000-EC and 5000-EC, typically provide 1- to 30-s cures.
