With Ultralow Absorption
PITTSBURGH, PA., November 11, 2007 --  II-VI Infrared said its improved MP-5 ultralow absorption CO2 laser lens, with a typical absorption of < 0.10 percent, has lowest absorption of any CO2 laser lens available. Its patented coating design enables lower thermal distortion, visible transmission for reduced setup time and easy detection of thermally induced stress. It has a specially coated zinc selenide (ZnSe) focusing lens (available in 1.5- and 2.0-in diameters) and ships in 14 standard replacement lens configurations for most popular OEM laser models.
