Brontes, a high-speed, high-precision colorimeter introduced by Advanced Measurement Systems (Admesy), measures colors and luminance in a production environment. The compact device measures colors according to the human eye (CIE1931) and supports numerous color spaces. Via an embedded PC or as a stand-alone instrument, it performs 10,000 measurements per second and is USBTMC-compliant. It measures the chromaticity, flicker, contrast and luminance of LCD displays, LEDs, plasma screens, liquids and plastics, either directly or through fiber optics. Luminance (Y) is measured at speeds of up to 10,000 samples per second, and color (X-Y-Z) at up to 4000/s.
