Coherent-Inc-Diamond-E-400-.jpgThe Diamond E-400 sealed, pulsed CO2 laser from Coherent Inc. offers average power of 400 W or peak power >1 kW in a compact package. Its radio-frequency power supply is incorporated in the laser head to increase reliability and facilitate integration into a workstation or robotic tool. It can be operated with pulse repetition rates of up to 100 kHz, with fast pulse rise and fall times. Offering onboard diagnostics, long lifetime, power on demand and beam quality of M2 <1.2, the lasers are suitable for materials processing applications such as cutting metals, and for drilling, scoring and scribing ceramics.
