Suitable for OEMs and system integrators, the Open eVision 1.0 software for image processing and analysis includes a software-based licensing system that is designed to help install the software tools and to deploy the application on any platform. Images may come from a frame grabber, a scanner or a file, or from IEEE-1394, GigE Vision or USB cameras. Available from Euresys sa, the software contains general-purpose libraries, including EasyImage and EasyColor, which cover applications such as image filtering and enhancement, blob analysis and pattern matching. Mark inspection libraries, such as EasyOCR and EasyBarCode, include functions for optical character recognition and for 1- and 2-D bar-code reading.
